JICA and Arasbaran this time in Qeshm

“The Japan International Cooperation Agency " (JICA) is advancing its activities around the pillars of a field-oriented approach, human security, and enhanced effectiveness, efficiency, and speed” this is how JICA introduce itself.

In their vision and mission of this company you can read this sentences "JICA, in accordance with the Development Cooperation Charter, will work on human security and quality growth. JICA with its partner, will take lead in forging bonds of trust across the world, aspiring for a free, peaceful and prosperous world where people can hope for a better future and explore diverse potentials."

As you can see the targets of JICA and Arasbaran are really close. This is the reason everything started.

These days tourism industry is the solution for everything in all nations so the concept of “education” has an important role in this sustainable growth. Countries should know their ecological capacities and potentials around their borders and learn how to conserve the environment.

One of these valuable ecological locations in our beloved country is Qeshm Island. This island has many potentials for conducting different kinds of tours. So before starting any tourism activity, educating local people would be the first step.

Qeshm Free Area Organization has the project of "Eco Island" with cooperation of JICA. They are working on this project as some subset projects. One of these projects, which is the pilot project too, is educating boat men and local guides about where they live and learn how to conserve and present it. The basics of tourism and the role of tourism in their life will show them how to use it as a sloution for their problems such as unemployment or low salaries of fishing or hunting. They also would know the ecological value of their land which is the biosphere reserve, ecopark and also a protected area.

This project tends to be a ToT project, which stands for "Training of Trainers" and Arasbaran is the company chosen for conducting this part in Qeshm Island as the partner of JICA.

Arasbaran as a responsible company promises to try hard and use the best teachers and all its knowledge since starting this project in Qeshm Island.
