The most horrible and deadliest typhoons happened in south of Philippines. The speed of this typhoon was 370 K/H and killed more than 12700 people and more than 4 million people became homeless. The disaster was so big, a tragedy happened, so people around the world had to show up for help, many groups and individuals of rescuers from other countries transferred there to help the survivors of this terrible incident. As the main road which lead to the Tacloban was destroyed and insecurity because of escaping the murderers and prisoners not many rescuers took the risk of going to the center of this city.
An Iranian twosome team including Erfan Fekri and Bijan Khaghani went to Tacloban with personal expenses and support of people. The lack of healthy food and fresh water was really serious and it was hard for the scared children to take this disaster so that, the team put all their effort on taking care of these orphan children. Delivering food and water, making temporary shelters and try to make them laugh even for a moment was the things they could do in that horrible situation.
This photo shows Erfan Fekri as he was playing with the kids.
These two friends needed our help for this trip; we were not in very good financial conditions on that time. All we could do was giving them the satellite telephones. They could use it to communicate and as they said it was a very good help when they were in the middle of crisis district.
